The wrap-around belt is a rubber product with special rubber formula of 1.2mm thickness. The wrapping tape is in semi-finished state when it is shipped from the factory, and it is wrapped on the outside of the main cable by the wrapping machine during the construction on site, and then heated by the heating blanket to become the finished product. During construction, the wrap-around tape is wound on the outside of the main cable with 52% superimposed pressure by a special tape-wrapping machine, and a certain tension should be maintained when the tape-wrapping machine is winding. The tape is wrapped around the main cable in a spiral stacked pressure from bottom to top. The thickness after 52% overlay winding is twice the thickness of the wrapping tape, i.e. about 2.4 mm. The thickness of the crimped part is three times thicker, i.e. approx. 3.6 mm. The purpose of the 52% overlay is to heat the wrap at a temperature of approx. 130 degrees Celsius for 4 to 7 minutes while maintaining a certain level of pressure so that the material can be sufficiently hot-melted and vulcanized to become one piece. This process is irreversible and will not crack or fail due to changes in ambient temperature and the continuous dynamic movement and elastic deformation of the main cable, thus guaranteeing a long lasting sealing of the main cable. $Dry weather, humidity does not exceed 90%, rainy days can not be constructed; the ambient temperature can not be lower than +5 ℃, lower than the temperature must be taken to warm up measures; the surface of the main cable must be dry, there can be no liquid water, ice; the surface of the main cable must be clean, there can be no dirt; to prevent sharp corners and sharp objects stabbing the wrap around the tape.
