The capsule seal is a kind of economic and practical sealing device, using polyurethane foam elastic components as filler, outsourcing with the sealing material in contact with the medium, with tape pressure strip, fasteners fixed in the floating plate outside of the plate, filled with the tank wall and the inner floating plate in the annular space between the capsule sealing a large contact area, sealing effect, applicable to all types of tanks, but the requirements of the wall of the tank cleanliness is high.
Tongue seal is the earlier form of sealing applied to the periphery of the inner floating plate, the tongue tape is trapezoidal in cross-section, using its own rigidity and elasticity will be pushed to the outer edge of the tank wall, and sliding contact with the tank wall, in order to achieve good sealing effect. Tongue tape is usually installed above the liquid level to avoid direct contact with the liquid. It is usually used for tanks with a diameter greater than 10m.
The double seal is made up of a combination of a single bladder seal and a single tongue seal superimposed on each other, which synthesizes the advantages of various single seal forms and improves the overall sealing performance.
